Unlock your personal project

This is for you if it feels like you've hit a brick wall on your personal project.

It could be anything that matters to you from redoing your kitchen to learning to drive.

The project isn't relevant. I can help if this project truly matters to you. I will help you to tackle the project in a way that gives you the energy and enthusiasm to restart and keep going.

We're all different so what that means in practice will vary.

The months of dragging your feet will end and you will know that you will finish this project.

I will lead you through a process which results in you being re-energised and enthusiastic about your project again.

You will start imagining possible future projects.

You will feel positive about the future (and stop feeling ashamed and guilty of your failures). and, over time, you'll discover you can achieve way more than you thought possible.

And all because you will know what motivates you, what doesn't and why.

How does it work?

We'll book 2 hours to give us plenty of time to get your project flowing smoothly again (you'll need somewhere quiet away from distractions).

(you may need less time - either way results are guaranteed)

We'll talk about you and your project for 45 minutes. Then we'll take a 15 minute break to let things settle and connections to be made.

We'll start another 45 minute session where the focus will be on finding the key to getting you motivated and raring to go (if we haven't already!).

About me

Alex Papworth

I'm Alex Papworth and I have spent 20+ years working in IT and business change in large banks, corporates and purpose-driven startups.

Now I support IT professionals (mainly) to be successful through honouring their individuality and learning how to get out of their own way. I help them find ease in their life by learning how to do things their way in work and life leading to greater success, positivity, confidence and impact.

Often the problem is relying exclusively on solving problems through analysis and ignoring or hiding from feelings (I know how this plays out from painful  personal experience). It's liberating to experience feelings as neither good nor bad but a source of 'data' to find a way forward when there are no guaranteed answers.

Not sure whether this is for you? Read Damien's story and how he has become clearer and more courageous; his kitchen replacement was done and dusted; and he's taking on exciting new hobbies like climbing.

But what if there's something wrong with me?

There is nothing wrong with you. This is a perfectly normal problem that many people have (especially if you like to think things through). And men in IT and business are particularly susceptible as we're trained to approach every task with a logical mind. There's nothing wrong with this approach but it has its limitations and completely fails when there are too many unknowns.

And you will be more effective and less likely to be stressed at work too.

We live in a mechanistic culture which tells us that we need to find faults in ourselves or other people. This doesn't reflect the natural order but that's a deeper discussion!
